Description
The Plant Business Line is digitalizing the delivery of several systems-based programs via the Digital Service Delivery Platform (DSDP) and moving away from the current paper-based process. These programs support trade, facilitate the importation or domestic movement of high-risk commodities, and approve facilities that meet CFIA requirements to perform specific activities with associated phytosanitary risks.
This learning product reviews the end-to-end process for receiving and reviewing program registration cases (applications) and issuing approvals (permissions) using DSDP. Intended for inspectors and program specialists, it provides a guided demonstration of how to navigate and use DSDP in the context of systems-based program delivery.
Key Topics Include:
- Overview of the program registration case in DSDP
- Recording inspection results
- Issuing permissions (approvals/authorizations)
- Managing changes to applications or permissions
- Post-issuance regulatory actions
Prerequiste:
It is recomended that you complete the course Introduction to the Standard Inspection Process (I6J051) before registering for this product.
