Prerequisites
Before registering to this course, you should first complete the following course(s):
- I6N008 - Introduction to the Aquatic Animal Health Program (NAAHP)
Upon successful completion of both courses, you will be able to interpret the components of the National Aquatic Animal Health Program (NAAHP) Export Certification Program, in order to deliver aquatic animal health export certificates for live aquatic animals and their products when required.
When you have completed both courses, you will be able to:
• describe the roles and responsibilities of Inspectors and Veterinary Inspectors for delivery of aquatic animal health export certification as outlined in the Aquatic Animal Health Export Policy Framework
• explain the export program procedures for aquatic animal health export certification
• receive export certification requests and determine required inspection activities
• conduct inspection activities as per the certificate documentation and Operational Procedures (OPs)
• issue export certificates as per the relevant documentation
