Description

The course includes information about three SRM destruction processes: incineration, thermal hydrolysis, and alkaline hydrolysis.

After completing the course, the learner will be able to:

• define, list, describe, and provide background for SRM destruction processes;
• recall regulatory requirements for SRM destruction processes;
• describe inspection activities for SRM destruction permits, including permit issuance and monitoring; and
• explain the CFIA inspection activities and the inspector’s report.
