Description
This training module is intended for the CFIA inspectors who will visit landfill and SRM storage sites to assess SRM permits and compliance requirements.
After completing the course, the learner will be able to:
- define key terminology related to SRM handling and disposal on landfill;
- list the SRM control permit requirements for storage, including permit issuance and monitoring; and
- explain the CFIA inspection activities and the inspector’s report.
