Introductory training for employees on the foundations of Data

Stewardship at the CFIA. Content will include:

• education on the basics of Stewardship (how Data Stewardship

is defined at the Agency),

• how it is implemented (governance and tools such as the Data

Asset Inventory), and

• why Stewardship (assigning accountability) of Agency data is

critical to allow the CFIA to adapt and thrive in an increasingly

data driven environment.
