There are several hundred kinds of parasites that can live in the human body. Of these, over 100 different parasites are known to be borne in food and drinks. This online course will show participants how foodborne parasites are transmitted, identify some effective control measures for foodborne parasites, and recognize some of the characteristics of foodborne parasitic protozoa and parasitic worms.
