This course is part of a supplementary training series designed to enhance the foundational knowledge gained in the Beef Slaughter Training Program and/or the Swine Slaughter Training Program.
After confirming with your supervisor and/or ATODC that this course is required as part of your training package, you can access it under the "Additional training" tab within the main Beef or Swine Slaughter Training
The Kidney Inhibition Swab (KIS) test is used to detect the presence of antibiotic residues (e.g. sulfonamides) in red meat carcasses.
This course is specifically designed for professionals working in establishments that fall under swine and beef slaughter. It provides participants with the essential knowledge required to conduct the KIS test.
