The course has been developed for inspection staff conducting the TRACE task(s). The course has been converted for Virtual Classroom delivery and are customized for the Abattoir target audiences.
• Identity their powers and authorities in regards to the Livestock Identification and Traceability Program (TRACE)
• Identify the TRACE program requirements
• Describe the TRACE program requirements for imported and exported animals
• Describe the TRACE program reporting and record-keeping requirements
• Identify appropriate enforcement options for regulatory non-compliance
