This course will introduce you to some of the key concepts of diversity and inclusiveness and provide you with a chance to apply some of what you've learned.
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
• Differentiate between the key concepts related to diversity and inclusiveness.
• Recall the acts and regulations that apply to all Canadians regarding diversity and employment equity.
• Explain the case for diversity at the CFIA, and apply the concepts to work life.
• Identify the CFIA's equity and diversity groups as well as other support mechanisms in place.
