Description
This online course is designed to help familiarize inspectors, supervisors and support staff with the Import Control and Transaction System (ICTS .Net) application as part of the Plant Business Line (PBL) mandatory processes. This online training module will allow new users to obtain access to the application, and to capture and retrieve detailed information on shipments imported into Canada for the Plant, Food and Animal business lines. Participants will also learn how the ICTS .Net application tracks the location, status and final decision on each imported commodity within a shipment, and how this system is used to provide information on import shipments, inspection data and compliance verification needs.
