The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) requires that inspectors exercise critical thinking and use Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to systematically analyze situations to identify key elements, reach logical conclusions, and make well-founded judgment calls and appropriate decisions in response to non-compliance. This online course will assist inspectors by developing and reinforcing key processes and skills in critical thinking, so they may conduct inspections more effectively, decide on judicious action plans, and write reports which are concise and accurate.
