Laboratory Safety: Employees Working Alone
This course will provide CFIA staff with the knowledge and skills required to perform their work in a way that is safe for them and their colleagues by offering standardized training on Employees Working Alone across the country. It will also help to create an incident reporting culture to contribute to a safer workplace.

This course presents the fundamental concepts, principles, and legislative requirements of livestock feed sampling. Learners will determine the sampling equipment to use based on the form of livestock feeds, the type of containers and the type of analysis requested, review the whole process of feed sampling and interpret sample analysis results.
